A Week On From DJ AG And The City Is Still Excited From The Live Steam Event!

Updated: Jun 12

It is over a week since AG made his first appearance in Sheffield with his platform. Recently, the online star DJ who has taken the internet by storm with is live videos on Tik Tok which is viewed by millions from all over the world. With this new found success, AG has been traveling a lot more to connect with some of the biggest artists on the planet as well as seach out new undiscovered talent. This journey brought him to Sheffield City, our home town, and the talent that went to display what they have to offer did not disappoint.

This event was not just a chance for artists to showcase their talents, they also had the once in a lifetime opportunity to perform in front of and alongside Ed Sheeran in addition to the underground Grime living legend which is J M E!.

We have had a chance to look back and check out the performances we missed on the day of the live stream and find have to give respect when respect is due, the level in Sheffield has increased and there is for sure a lot more talent floating around the city than many realised from the feedback we have been reading which backs the point even more so that things like this need to keep happening in Sheffield.

We hope we are not buchering the name here but we are impressed by the vocal talent of Starzy B who we have not come across before but think she should continue with her passion for music. We didn't catch the kids name, but we are feeling the energy from the young sir who did the "Are You Joking' he brought some fun and energy to the stream.

Our top artits in their fields reminded people why they are Sheffield's best within their respected genre of music. KDot made sure the world know about Bassline and how nice he is on the microphone, Coco did what Coco does as always and we still feel out of breath for him at the speed this guy can fire out lyric after lyric and Levelle came through with her Dancers to showcase some new music and some songs from her recent EP.

From the live stream, we had a chance to see how some artists have reinvented themselves and right off we have to say we are interested to see what comes from the linkup between Saint 7six, Khouri Llove and the crew with the Reggae/Dancehall vibes. Sheffield has not had many Dancehall focused artists so for sure we are keen to see what music comes from these guys. It has been nice to see artists like Aziza that has been on her grind for a while to pick up a new audience from this live and it is well deserved because she put her soul into that performance!

Loads of artists gave a good display of themselves, too many for us to mention at once, but we are aiming to cover more of the artists we saw and make sure more of their music is feature on the radio and playlists also.

Sheffield should be proud!
